This policy is issued by VJSoftEdge Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”), an Indian company. It explains what personal data we collect on vjsoftedge.com, why we collect it, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where it applies, the GDPR.

Who this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to this marketing website and people who send a contact or quote form. It does not cover student, parent, school, pharmacy, or travel-booking data inside our products. Those products, if deployed, will have their own agreements and notices. This website does not collect data from children.
Information we collect
- Form details you type: name, email, phone (if given), subject, and message.
- Technical data for spam control: date, time, and IP address of a form submission.
- Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies): page views, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. This can be personal data. It is not “anonymous” just because it is aggregated in reports.
- Security check when you start a form: Google reCAPTCHA may collect device, interaction, and cookie data to tell humans from bots.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use your contact details for marketing unless you ask us to.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement (legitimate / necessary to respond to your request).
- To send a confirmation that we received the message.
- To stop spam, fraud, and abuse of the forms.
- If you accept analytics: to see which pages are used so we can improve the site. You can refuse this and still browse.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics cookies do not load until you click Accept analytics on the banner. Choose Essential only to refuse them. Change your mind any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Google reCAPTCHA loads only when you open or start a contact form, because that form cannot be protected without it.
You can also delete cookies in your browser. That does not stop you from reading the site.
Who else sees the data
We use these processors:
- Google LLC — Tag Manager and Analytics (only after you accept), and reCAPTCHA when you use a form. Google may process data in the United States and other countries. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting and email providers, solely to run the website and receive enquiries.
We do not pass your enquiry to advertisers. If we must share data because the law requires it, we will do only what is required.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and related IP logs are kept for up to 24 months after the last reply, unless a contract, claim, or legal duty needs a longer record. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings, typically up to 14 months. Consent choice is stored in your browser until you change it or clear site data.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw analytics consent. Email info@vjsoftedge.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows.
Grievance officer
For privacy complaints under Indian law, write to the Grievance Officer at info@vjsoftedge.com or call +91-9718115509, marked “Privacy grievance”. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India when that forum is available for your complaint.
Third-party links and names
If a page links to another website, we are not responsible for that site’s privacy practices or content.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top is the latest version.
